My main goal was to create and then attack the definition of a Religious Experience. What is it? Do you need to be "religious" to have a religious experience?
Religious experiences might or might not be the same as a spiritual experience or an "Aw" experience. Ultimately, it's up to the person who had the experience to define it. And it is only special to that individual.
A continuation that I found in all our examples was the surprising way in which somebody enters one of these experiences. There are times when we feel we must experience something but that's often forced. But then there are times when some factor or another will send us into awe and that's the experience.
