Ana-Sofia Meneses '16, Internal Communications Coordinator, [email protected]
Hi kiddos,
Born in the hustle and bustle of NYC to some artsy individuals who are loosely grouped into the title "family," I traveled a lot as a child which really influenced my world-view and especially my view on religion. I believe that all religions have something to offer. If there is a higher power, even just the power of the universe or the power of reason, then there must be a purpose to the plethora of religions that this planet has to offer. Currently, I belong to the class of 2016 and am majoring in Classical Studies and Art History. As Internal Communications Coordinator, my job is to search the internet for pictures of fuzzy animals, rule the blog, bake treats, and talk too much.
Basically, I’m everybody’s faerie-godmother.
You may also refer to Ana-Sofia as "My Queen," "Empress of All" or other similar titles and the power will not go to her head.

Greg Fain'16 External Communications Coordinator, [email protected]
Hello Everyone, I'm Greg and you will be stuck with me as your External Communications Coordinator for a while. A product of the not-so-great state of Rhode Island, I am a Near Eastern and Judaic Studies major and a Religious Studies minor. Coming from a Reform Jewish background, I am not exactly what could be considered to be the most religiously observant individual, yet it may not be too great an overstatement to say that I live and breath religion. The study of religious traditions is endlessly intriguing to me and the pursuit of insights into how human beings attempt to understand the incomprehensible Otherness that faiths sense never ceases to reveal new and exciting things to learn. As the External Communications Coordinator, I will be responsible for outreach and recruitment, as well as working with the plethora of other clubs that exist on campus. I am exciting to be working in BIG's leadership and establishing a strong base from which the club can grow. Brace yourselves, because this is going to be an extremely nerdy ride for all involved and there are no stops along the way.

Sarah Saka Adler'16 Finance Coordinator, [email protected]
Saka likes to be called Saka and will respond to Saka, Sakta, Sakute, Socks, Sakaflaka, Rock-Em-Sak-Em and occasionally Sarah. She will probably respond to any other fun thing you can think to do with her name as well. Saka is a senior studying computer science and economics. In her spare time Saka fights the patriarchy and other systems of oppression. Saka eats, sleeps, and breaths feminism and seeks to be radical in every aspect of her life. In addition to be being in BIG, Saka is also the treasurer for the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance and she has been known to stage manage from time to time. By now you are probably thinking that you are no where near as cool as Saka, and you are totally right! She knows tons of Harry Potter facts and LOVES bagels. Saka also has vegan super powers so watch out for that. One day Saka will rule the world, but she is content to amass a small fortune and dismantle systems of oppression until such a day comes.
